How to know the difference between legal & illegal  Tour Operators?

An International tour operator in Vietnam are legally bound to compensate clients if the company fails to fulfill its obligations. All the legal documents on the company such as  the certificate of business registration, the certificate of tax registration, the full-time employee list, the full-time licensed tour guide list and  the entire business plan, those documents must apply to  the Vietnam National Administration Of Tourism in order to check the company legal status ,also to meet strict quality standards.
An important factor  in obtaining an international license is a requirement to set up a secure account at a state bank and deposit a substantial cash bond to be used solely for the purposes of compensation. The Vietnam National Administration Of Tourism is a compulsory signatory, so no withdrawals can take place without VNAT’s official permission.

Please read these booking terms and conditions carefully. They contain important information and set out your agreement with Global Travel

Global Travel  is registered in Vietnam. The contract and all matter arising from it is subject to Vietnamese law and Vietnamese courts.

By booking a tour and paying the non-refundable deposit, you acknowledge you have read and agree to Global Travel booking conditions.

The booking conditions are obligatory when Global Travel confirms your booking by phone, fax, mail or emails.

Prices and inclusions

Prices are based on the exchange rates and the real costs of the tour services at the time of writing this website. The prices are subject to change with prior notice.

Inclusions

Accommodation (from 1 to 5 star hotels, superior rooms, twin sharing)
All meals indicated in the itineraries
Ground transport throughout the tours (convenient road vehicles, boat, train, motorbike, tuk tuk, rickshaw, bicycle, horse-cart, cow-cart, or elephant)
All domestic flights indicated in the itineraries
All international flights indicated in the itineraries
Entrance fees to all the sites in the itineraries
Local English, French, Russian speaking guides throughout the tours
Gifts and maps

Exclusions

Visa to the country(ies) where the tour is taking place.
International flights to and from the country(ies) where the tour takes place.
Domestic and international airport taxes and surcharges.
All kinds of insurance.
All kinds of personal expenses and tips.
Any costs not indicated above.

Please note : Global Travel tries to arrange full-board tours for travelers due to the fact that it may cost travelers more time and money to do by themselves. But yet, we can deduct some costs such as meals or entrance fees from the total tour price if travelers wish to arrange by themselves.

By email, fax, phone, or post

Reservation conditions

You must pay a deposit of 30% of the tour price when booking a tour 35 days before departure.
You must pay 20% more of the full payment 28 days before departure.
If you book a tour less than 28 days before departure, you must pay 50% of the full payment.

You will pay the rest 50% of the tour price when you arrive at the country of destination.

Terms of payment

Cash payment or bank transfer is acceptable. Transaction fee should be on your side.

Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed and binding when Global Travel has received your 50% payment and sent you a receipt by email, fax, or post.
Global Travel will always confirm your booking at the rate for a (7-10)-people- group, superior twin sharing room. Global Travel will refund you the overcharge balance if there are more than 10 bookings. If there are less than 7 bookings, your bookings will be automatically transferred to the next departure by Global Travel unless you request to pay the undercharge balance for a smaller group or a withdrawal of your deposit.

Cancellations

- If you cancel the trip 34 - 28 days before the departure, Global Travel will refund your deposit.
- If you cancel the trip 27 – 14 days before the departure, you will lose 10% of the full payment.
- If you cancel the trip less than 14 days before the departure, you will lose 30 % of the full payment.
- If No show, you will lose 50% of the full payment.
- Global Travel reserves the right to cancel the departure when there are less than 7 bookings unless you agree to pay the undercharge balance for a smaller group.

Your trip

Please keep in mind that your trips are in Vietnam and neighbour countries where standards of accommodation, transport, hygiene, medical facilities and other infrastructure may, at times, be lower than those you normally expect.

Travelling with Global Travel requires a certain measure of flexibility, good humour, and an understanding that the itinerary, accommodation and modes of transport may be changed due to circumstances beyond our control. Global Travel has the responsibility to make necessary changes without liability.

Force Majeure

Global Travel will not be responsible for any unforeseen or unavoidable events which are beyond our control such as: earthquake, storm, flood, war or threat of war, riot, strike, disease, fire, and similar events. In the case of Force Majeure, Global Travel will do its best to maintain at your own costs as much comfort and safety for you as possible. However, Global Travel will not accept liability and reserves the right to change or cancel trips.

Huy, a man with an infectious laughter and devout attention to detail, he has become an integral part of Global Travel's continued success in Vietnam today. Having graduated from Hanoi University in English, he  joined the Global Travel Team in 2005 after having been a tour leader for more than ten years. Today, Huy  is responsible for the day to day operation of our cruise ship together with our growing operations team. He works closely with Mr Pham, the founder of Global Travel in monitoring the projects of our high end clients and plays an extremely important part 'on the ground' in ensuring arrangements run according to plan and client expectations. Huy is extremely busy these days and very much in demand.
