Biking Tour from the North to the South

HA NOI - HA LONG - HUE - HOI AN – NHA TRANG - SAI GON - CAN THO
( 17 days/16 nights)

Bicycle - a good means to have the excellent contacts with the population and to see the various houses ( on stilt), the agricultural work (rice-tea-corn), the life of every day and “to offer” small presents to the population, especially to the children (pens, cuddly toys, candies...)

Day 1 – HA NOI ARRIVAL
- Arrive in the airport of Hanoi city, meet upon arrival with signboard « Welcome …. » and transfer to hotel
- Visit of Ha Noi city if have enough time (The old quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple)

Day 2 – HA NOI 25km by bicycle
- Ride bicycle through Long Bien Brige-an old bridge which was built from the French colonial time
- Visit of one authentic village and have lunch in the visit
- Continue for the visiting of But Thap Village
- Come back Hanoi
- Water puppetry show

Day 3 – HA NOI/HALONG/HANOI 180km by car
- Leave to the world famous Ha Long bay
- Enjoy Ha Long bay tour by cruise to visit some sightseeings in Ha Long bay such as: Thien Cung grotto, Dau Go cave where displayed the famous fighting between vietnamese people and Nguyen Mong invader in 11th century by general Tran Hung Dao , cock fight , Dome islet
- Have lunch with sea food on boat
- Return to Ha Noï

Day 4 – HA NOI/HUE by plane
- Transfer directly to the Hanoi Airport for the flight to Hue
- Arrive Hue and meet at Phu Bai airport.
- Transfer to downtown for check - in hotel

Day 5 –HUE
- Visit some sightseeings by bicyle, such as: Imperial Citadel, city loaded with history, traditional intellectual home of the country monuments visit the door of midday, the Palace of the Supreme Harmony, the temple of Nguyen along the Perfume pagoda and Dong Ba market.

Day 6 -HUE/DA NANG/HOI AN 140 kms
- Transfer to Hoi An by car across Hai Van pass.
- Stopover at Lang Co beach for sightseeing and photograph .
- Continue to Hoi An ancient town ( 30 km south of Da Nang city) then check in hotel
- Ride to Tra Que village

Day 7 -HOI AN
- Visit the old quarter of Hoi An : Phuoc Kien temple, japanes bridge, Cham dance show…
- In the afternoon, you explore the countryside by bicycle. You will ride along quiet roads. Hoi An is surrounded by small lakes and maybe we will get the chance to meet an old Vietcong worrier! The trip end at a beautiful beach and you can stay there for a swim or cycle back to Hoi An for more shopping

Day 8 -HOI AN/DA NANG / NHA TRANG by plane
- Visit the Kim Bong village by bicycle
- Transfer to the Da Nang airport for flight to Nha Trang.
- Meet and transfer with guide to hotel for check in
Day 9 - NHA TRANG Nha Trang Island Tour. Experience the cost of Nha Trang, one of the 29 bays in the world with the most beautiful corals, aboard a boat as we set out in the morning at 9 am, A relaxing cruise on the turquoise waters of the South China Sea . Your craft is a simple (but safe and comfortable!) reconverted fishing boat. Off shore from Nha Trang lie numerous islands, some inhabited and many dotted with idyllic fishing villages. We pause at the Tri Nguyen Aquarium with a collection of sea fish. We then head out to Coral Island . Should you wish, there will be opportunity to swim and snorkel in secluded bays. From here we continue to Con Se Tre Island where you have the choice of relaxing or for the energetic.  Lunch is a feast of local specialities prepared on the island before boarding our boat back to Nha Trang habour.

Day 10 NHA TRANG Monkey Island - Waterfall - Beach

8:00 am: The tour will depart from your hotel to Monkey Island . We will take a 15 minute boat ride to the island where you can see over 1000 monkeys in their natural habitat. Try spotting the King of the Monkey's. Explore the island, either by hand feed the monkeys. Animals shows are also performed on the island.

10:00 am: Leave Monkey Island to Ba Ho Waterfall ("three lakes"), where you can climb the rocks and dive into the crystal clear waters. If you are daring, leap from the highest peak!!! 

2:00 pm: We visit Doc Let Beach , one of Vietnam 's most stunning beaches, with it's blue waters and chaulk-white sands. Cheap seafood is

available from the restaurant and there are romantic bungalows for anyone who would like to extend their stay overnight.

4:00 pm: Back to Nha Trang. On our return journey, you can see the salt fields at Ninh Dien and take photos of the striking countryside landscapes.

5:00 pm: Return to your hotel.

Day 11- NHA TRANG countryside tour 20 km Enjoy Nha Trang countryside tour by bike which will bring you to charming villages with ancient houses, traditional professions, palm plantations, fruit gardens, etc. where you will learn much about Vietnamese cultures and country life. Visit the Ponagar Temple, then enjoy a pleasantly healthy mud bath at the hot spring nearby. Overnight in Nha Trang

Day 12 - NHA TRANG/ SAIGON by plane
- Transfer to Cam Ranh Airport for flight to Saigon .
- Meet and transfer with guide to hotel for check in

Day 13– SAÏGON/VINH LONG /CAN THO–160 Kms
- Depart for Cai Be-Vinh Long which is situated between the Tien and the Hau Rivers. Here the soil is rich in alluvium, favourable for rice and various fruit cultivation.
The majority of inhabitants live on farming, the remaining on petty trading.
- After arrival in Cai Be, a boat will take you to the floating market busy with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Then our boats continue to the maze of shady canals passing the countless fruits, stop at a local orchard to enjoy tropical seasonal fruits. Taking this tour we will also enjoy roaming through the village, visiting the daily activities of locals who make products (ceramic, rice paper, Crispy vermicelli…). After a short stop in Vinh Long city en route for Can Tho

Day 14 -CAN THO/SAI GON
- Can Tho is the capita of Can Tho’s province and her geographic situation makes the moving plate of the Delta of the Mekong . Can Tho’s floating market is the biggest market of the delta, and it is there that meet themselves all the boats come from the 4 corners of the area to buy, to sell or to exchange any shorts of goods.
- A boat will take you cruising to the busiest floating market of the Mekong River Delta: Cai Rang floating market. Hundreds of vessels gather here to trade all kinds of fruit from neighboring fertile farms. You can have some tropical fruit to eat.
- Visit some more villages from Cai Son garden ( 12km)
- Return to Sai Gon in the afternoon

Day 15 – SAÏGON/DEPARTURE
- Free at leisure till moment to transfer to airport for return flight.
