VIETNAM BIKING TOUR 12DAYS 11 NIGHTS 

Day 1: HANOI (D)

Arrival in Hanoi, the centuries-old beautiful capital of Vietnam, airport pick-up, hotel check-in, time at leisure. Enjoy a fantastic trishaw ride through the bustle and hustle of Hanoi Old Quarter and dinner at a local restaurant.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 2: HANOI CYCLING CITY TOUR (B-L)

Full day for exploring the fascinating city of Hanoi by bicycle where old and new things blend together, Vietnamese, Chinese and French cultures mix together.

Activities: Cycle from the hotel to visit the peaceful Ho Chi Minh area, visit HCM Mausoleum, HCM’s stilt house and garden, the One Pillar pagoda. Then cycle to visit the Ethnology Museum with interesting and colorful exhibits of the 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam

Continue cycling to Koto restaurant for lunch. After lunch walk to visit the beautiful Temple of Literature. Finally take a fascinating bike tour through the famous 36 busy streets of the Old Quarter and back to the hotel

Note: The traffic is quite heavy in Hanoi. The guide will try to lead you through less busy streets but still hectic traffic compared with your home country. However, you should not panic but feel at ease to cycle smoothly. It will be safe by bike.

Day 3: HANOI – HOA BINH – CYCLING TO MAI CHAU VILLAGE (35km cycling – about 1hr – Well surfaced road with some rough tracks. ) (B-L)

After breakfast, transfer to Hoa Binh town to Muong Khen. And then cycling to Mai Chau over some hills and slopes. You will have a chance to past through many minority villages, coffee and tea plantations. Arrive Mai chau, visit Thai Hill tribe village.

Overnight at Mai Chai Eco Lodge

Day 4: MAI CHAU – CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK (B-L) (25km – about 1 hr - Well surfaced road with some rough tracks)

After breakfast transfer to Phu Nho Quan (Highway 12B), cycling to Cuc phuong national park on the local roads.
Overnight in Cuc Phuong national park.

Day 5: CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK – TAM COC – HANOI (B-L) (23km – mixture well surfaced road and off road with some rough tracks)

Visit Endangered Primate Rescue Center and botanical garden, then cycling along the forest road, through the primitive jungle, to the central of the park, have lunch here

Then transfer by bus to visit Tam Coc, enjoy a nice boat trip in Tam Coc.

Transfer back to Hanoi by bus

Day 6: HANOI – PHU QUOC ISLAND (B-L)

Early morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport to take flight to Phu Qoc Island.

P8 201 HAN-PQC 06:30-10:10. Arrive Phu Quoc, transfer to hotel and check in. Free time on your own for swimming and relaxation.

Ovenight in Phu Quoc.

Day 7: CYCLING TOUR – NORTH PHU QUOC ISLAND (B-L)
(26Km – a short well surfaced road and the rest are off road, some muddy tracks in Rainy season)

After breakfast, cycle to north island pass by Phu Quoc Natural Forest. You can see many pepper farm and enjoy the wild nature. Arrive Thom beach you can swim and relax on beautiful beach.

Enjoy fresh delicious seafood lunch at the beach.

Transfer back to the hotel. Free time on your own.

Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 8: CYCLING TOUR - SOUTH PHU QUOC ISLAND (B-L)

(27Km – a short well surfaced road and the rest are off road, poor road conditions, some muddy tracks in Rainy season)

After breakfast, cycle to south island, visit Phu Quoc pearl farm on the way, a wide variety of pearls made and collected from Phu Quoc Island are displayed for your contemplation and shopping, visit pepper garden, A traditional fish sauce factory.

Arrive Sao beach, nicest beach of the south where sea, sand and sun blended and then drive to An Thoi. Transfer back to the your hotel. Free time on your own.

Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 09: PHU QUOC – HCM – CU CHI TUNNEL - (B-L)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take flight to HCM.
PQC SGN 07:35 - 08:40  VN1802.
Upon arrival, transfer to Cu Chi and visit Cu Chi Tunnel where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnel system of more than 200km in length which provide shelters for Vietnamese guerrillas during the Vietnam War against American troops.

Transfer back to HCMC. Enjoy city tour visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the War Remnants museum and the Ben Thanh Market.

Evening optional treatment with wonderful massage and spa, or shopping in the city center

DAY 10: CYCLING TOUR - HCM – MY THO – BEN TRE (B-L) (25Km – Easy road)

After breakfast, transfer to My Tho, upon arrival we cross Rach Mieu Ferry and start cycling on country road. You will enjoy the pictures of countryside by green coconut and paddle fields along the road. Arrive Ben Tre, take a small boat down branches of Mekong and into peaceful canal.
Visit an island orchard and real daily life of farmers. Have lunch and nice fruits unique of the region.
Enjoy a rowing boat ride along the small canals. Then, cycle to explore this quiet area, visit coconut-candy workshop and handicraft workshops before coming back to to the transport to drive back Saigon. Overnight in HCM.

Day 11: HCMC – FREE DAY (B)

Full day free time to explore the city on your own or for relaxation, massage and spa, or shopping.

Overnight in HCMC

DAY 12: HCM – DEPARTURE (B)

Free time until transfer to the airport to take flight back home.

End of services.
